Good-bye 2009!

Our Best Man/Maid-of-Honor, Julie Clegg has been in town visiting us for the last few days.
Today was her last morning with us, so we decided to take her to Huntington Beach for breakfast at Ruby's Diner at the end of the pier.

It was a pretty morning. Lots of Surfers!

Tide was kinda high!

It was a nice walk down the pier.

I loved watching the waves!

I thought this looked really pretty!

While we were eating a seagull without a foot stopped by.

A pod of dolphins also swam by.

Christmas Day

After feeding the missionaries breakfast we went to Rose Hills to visit the dead.

It was so nicely decorated with all the poinsettas.

Not very happy when we got to Mom's grave. I can't believe how messed up it is!

It's got to be at least a foot deep sink hole.

I guess I'll be calling on Monday to get them to fix it!

We still decorated with pinwheels and a Christmas Cactus.

Then we went to Gma Ridge's grave. Nice mud and tire tracks!

We did the best with what we had to clean it up.

Walking around I found Cara Mae!

We saw Rose's headstone for the first time.

And last but not least, Johnny's grave! The apple was next to his grave. So we put it on his headstone.

We went home and opened presents!!!!

Eddie gave me this beautiful necklace!!

Eddie got a 46" TV.

Plus the Huge BBQ and the 14 day round trip cruise to Hawaii!

It's been a good day!

Mele kalikimaka! Eddie made Flying French Toast for the Zone Activity for the missionaries serving in the Whittier Stake.
