The Circle of Life

This is our garden this year! The above picture was taken on May 19th! Those are tomatoes and squashes and peppers and melons. Below we have the Scarborough Fair herb garden! The cilantro is insane!!!

Here is our zucchini plant! We ate two zucchini's from this plant on Memorial day! They were delicous!!! We also ate cilantro on Monday too!

This was our little green pepper on the 19th!

Eddie's beautiful popsicle roses! They look so sunny and refreshing when you think of big sticks!

The impatince we planted next to the garage under the avocado tree are still there. They haven't filled out much, but I'm still hoping!

Don't tell Eddie about the volunteer tomato plant that has found a home next to the impatiens!

The melon patch! I'm bound and determined to work on this side of the yard that is always neglected!!! I will continue to post pictures of my progress!!!

The corn Eddie planted on Friday! We've never tried corn before, but we decided to be adventurous and attempt it. Unbeknownst to Eddie I also planted pole beans and sunflowers behind the corn!!! I did that on Tuesday! Yesterday! We'll see what grows!!! There are also squashes on either sides of the corn. Black zucchini, straight yellow squash and butternut squash! Little House in the Suburbs blog calls this Three Sisters Corn, beans and squash!

Our crooked neck squash keep producing! We haven't eaten any yet, I'd like them to be a little bit bigger! We should have plenty this year!!!!

The garden this morning May 27th! It grows bigger everyday!

The plot thickens!! HA HA HA! This is my next plot for gardening. I still need to level it out a bit. I've been watering it so the soil is easier to move. I will hopefully plant lettuce before the week ends!!!
