No Pictures

Our pictures from this week are in a camera in Orem, UT because we forgot our camera at home and April couldn't get her computer to work to dump our pictures! Go figure!
So here's a story without pictures! On Valentine's day, Eddie's Aunt Millie passed away. Uncle Earl had passed away 14 months earlier, so we thought it was a great day to be re-united! Aunt Millie was 90 years old. She was the sweetest thing. She's the first person in Eddie's family to make me feel welcomed! I think everyone else was still in shock or dis-belief or something! Anyway! Aunt Millie lived a great life of service. Her funeral was full of music. I really liked that. My favorite was the 10 year old great grand-daughter who sang, "O Divine Redeemer". She didn't miss a note. When she got up to sing I told Eddie this is a tough song for a little girl. He said to me, "This is a tough song for an old lady!" The woman playing the piano had to be in her 90's! It all went off without a hitch! It was fun getting to talk with Eddie's side of the family. We hadn't gone to the luncheon after Uncle Earl's funeral and several family members told us we had to come this time. I was very impressed by this ward's funeral lunch! NO FUNERAL POTATOES! And we were in Utah! It was a lovely lunch of Soup and Salads! It was simply, but beautifully decorated. It was all delicious! That's probably the best part of funerals....getting to catch up with family and friends you haven't seen in forever! After the funeral lunch, we decided to go to the Draper Temple Open House! It was just more tender mercies that we were able to go to Aunt Millie's funeral and have the open house going on while we were there was just the icing on the cake! The Draper Temple is beautiful! The floor to ceiling windows, the colors, the murals, the carvings on the baptismal font. The Brides room was my favorite!!! The chandelier, the sconces, the border, the ceiling, the carpet!!!! The drive up to the temple was crazy. The organization that is involved to get so many people to the temple was amazing. The size of the houses built around the temple are insane!!!
We're very excited because our great-niece Hannah is being baptized on July 11th... The Oquirrh Temple will be having it's open house then, so we'll get to tour another temple and then hopefully in the fall we'll be able to go to the 4 new temples in Utah and Idaho and finally add more temples to our temple hopping goals! If we do get to all 4...we will be at 31 temples!
Eddie and I have returned from Utah with colds I guess. Eddie's nose is running non stop and he's had chills and what not! My head felt like it might explode and now my throat is hurting. So, I guess it will be a take it easy kinda week! That's the latest from us!
